Dist. 5300 call for GSE team leader inteviews and contributions

Our Rotary Foundation year is coming to end and we need a final push in terms of sending in nominations for Club members to lead our GSE team next year to Brazil. We also need to make sure we send our Club member contributions for polio and / or the annual fund to the Foundation by June 30th. All of you have done a wonderful job this year and thanks for any help you can provide in this final push.

Group Study Exchange – we need applications in for team leaders by June 30th. Doug Fowler (Apple Valley) is our District chair for our GSE program for next year and asked me to remind you that we are seeking applicants for GSE team leader for next year's GSE team. Our exchange next year will be with a District in the northeast along the Atlantic coast in Brazil.

The travel dates for the exchange will be late spring with both teams finishing up at the District Conferences in the other District's country. All of our past GSE team leaders as well as team members feel that these five week visits (minimal cost to the team members) where our team members learn about their vocation as it is practiced in another country, learn about another country, and finally share with the other country's Rotarians a little about who were are as Americans, is an experience of lifetime. You can find more information about the GSE program including the team leader application at http://district5300.org/gse/index.html. Team leaders applications should be submitted to Doug Fowler before June 30th at the address shown on the website.

Annual Program Fund. See the attached for the multiple donor form used when you send money to the Foundation for your Club. Remember that you have to check the box and use a different forms depending on whether the contributions are for the Annual Program Fund or Polio Plus (do not check the Polio Plus Partner box).

Thanks again for your help and support of the Foundation.

What do these locations have in common?
